Subscription form: http://lcsl.mit.edu/courses/mlcc/mlcc2015/#subscri...
Subscription deadline: 15th May 2015
MLCC 2015 is organized within the Phd Programs in
PhD program in Computer Science and Systems Engineering
Phd program in Bioengineering and Robotics
in collaboration with the
University of Genova (http://www.unige.it)
Center for Brain Mind and Machines? CBMM (https://cbmm.mit.edu/)
and the Istituto italiano di tecnologia? IIT (http://www.iit.it)
Subscription is open to students, researchers as well as professionals. Priority will be given to undergraduate and graduate students.
Course Overview:
Machine Learning is a key to develop intelligent systems and analyze data in science and engineering. Machine Learning engines enable intelligent technologies such as Siri, Kinect or Google self driving car, to name a few. At the same time, Machine Learning methods help deciphering the information in our DNA and make sense of the flood of information gathered on the web, forming the basis of a new “Science of Data”. This course provides an introduction to fundamental methods at the core of modern Machine Learning. It covers theoretical foundations as well as essential algorithms. Classes on theoretical and algorithmic aspects are complemented by practical lab sessions.
