Topics/Call fo Papers

Robotics research has drawn much inspiration from humans as a system in both mechanical design and in inspiring approaches to planning, control and coordination. Recently, robotics algorithms have also been applied to address research questions in human sciences such as kinesiology, biomechanics and neuroscience, improving understanding of natural human motion, developing treatments for patients with neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and facilitating development of human inspired robots. The research in this exciting new field of application of robotics theory is highly interdisciplinary, bringing together researchers from robotics, neuroscience, kinesiology, biomechanics, rehabilitation and anatomy. This workshop aims to bring together diverse researchers to present the latest advances in the field, describe successful collaborations and the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas as well as discuss open problems and needed tools to further advance this research stream.
