SBAC-PAD is an international annual conference, started in 1987, which has continuously presented an overview of new developments, applications, and trends in parallel and distributed computing technologies. SBAC-PAD is open for faculty members, researchers, specialists and graduate students around the world.
The submissions typically come from over a dozen countries. In this edition, the symposium will be held at Columbia University, New York City.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts on all aspects of computer architecture and high performance computing. The selection process is competitive, with acceptance rate about 30% in recent years.
For further information please check the web site. SBAC-PAD 2012 will be sponsored by the Brazilian Computer Society, the IEEE Computer Society through the Technical Committees on Computer Architecture (TCCA) and Scalable Computing (TCSC), and IFIP.
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts on a wide range of high-performance computing areas, including computer architecture, systems software, languages and compilers, algorithms, and applications. The authors of selected papers will also be invited to submitted extended versions of their work for possible publication in special issues of relevant international journals.
