The International Workshop on Data Mining Application in Government and Industry 2010 (DMAGI10)

As Part of The 10th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining.

This workshop is to be held in conjunction with the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM 2010) 13-17 December Sydney Australia. The workshop is an opportunity for attendees to network, share experiences and learn from others who are involved in real-world applications and issues.
We invite you to submit papers with a strong emphasis on their practical or potential application in Government and Industry. Research and application papers are welcome, and authors are encouraged to highlight the application of new algorithms, techniques and methodologies.
All papers will go through a double blind peer review, by a panel of experts who have extensive industry and academic experience. Please note that that at least one of the authors for each accepted paper will be required to register for the workshop to present their paper.

Applications and case studies including:
lessons learned and experiences gained
customer analytics
fraud analytics
financial analytics
law-enforcement and security analytics
sports analytics
health analytics
climate and meteorological analytics
Organisational experiences of applying data mining.
Collaborative data mining: how do numerous people engage within the data mining process.
Advances in data matching and data visualization and mapping including social network analysis.
New directions in data mining and modeling.
Developments in specialist applications such

privacy-preserving data mining
