SDSA 2015 - 1st IEEE International Workshop on Software Defined Systems & Applications
Topics/Call fo Papers
The goal of SDSA 2015 is to discuss and advance state-of-the-art, research and development in the area of software defined systems and to promote the study of both fundamental and practical aspects of such systems. The workshop will bring together researchers, students, and practitioners that share interests in the emerging field of software defined systems.
Information technology is moving towards a new "software-defined" era that makes software more "in command" of a greater range of devices and hardware systems for computing, storage, transmission, and networking. Software defined systems refer to a collection of enabling software technologies that are emerging in the information technology area. Examples include Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Security (SDSec), Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), Software Defined Storage (SDS) and Software Defined Radio (SDR). Considering their unique features, software development for these systems raise new challenges/
Topics of interest include:
Software defined networking
Software defined security
Software defined data center
Software defined storage
Software defined servers
Software defined radio
Applications of software designed systems
Engineering issues of software defined systems
Quality assurance of software defined systems
Case studies of software defined systems
Surveys on software defined systems
