Topics/Call fo Papers
ASPLOS 2013 invites papers on ground-breaking research on current and future computer systems, from ultra-low power embedded and wearable devices to large-scale parallel computers. Submissions should emphasize synergy of at least two ASPLOS communities: architecture; programming languages; and operating systems. Papers on non-traditional topics are especially encouraged. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
? emerging platforms in all forms and scales, from sensor networks to exascale systems
? computer systems that address social, educational, and environmental challenges
? power, energy, and thermal management
? distributed and cloud computing
? heterogeneous architectures; graphics and media processing
? memory and storage technologies and architectures
? case studies and user studies
? security, reliability and availability
? new computing models, including molecular, biological, and quantum computing
