2010 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy
Introduction
The 2010 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy (PECon 2010) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 29 November 2010 to 1 December 2010. The previous conference, PECon 2008 was successfully held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia attended by presenters of over 300 papers from over 40 countries. Papers of PECON2008 has been indexed in IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science. PECon 2010 is organized to invite international delegates, to Kuala Lumpur to share their latest researches besides getting to know Malaysia.
The aim of this conference is to provide engineers and academia with the opportunity to explore recent development, current practices and future trends in power and energy. It is hoped that this conference will provide a unique platform for discussing issues and development in electrical power, power electronics and energy along with establishing international relationship and exchanging ideas among the delegates.
PECon 2010 is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia Power & Energy (PE) Chapter and IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics (PEL), Industrial Electronics (IE) and Industrial Applicatiions (IA) Joint Chapter . The conference program will feature tutorials, technical paper presentations and technical exhibition.
The proceedings of PECON 2010 will be included in the IEEE Xplore database
The proceedings of PECON2008 has been included in IEEE Xplore database, SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science
Special Sessions/Tutorial
The Technical Program Committee is soliciting proposals for special sessions/tutorial focusing on topics relevant to the scope PECON2010. Prospective organizers should submit proposals to the program committee at ieeepecon-AT-gmail.com
Call for Reviewers
PECON 2010 will implement a double blind peer review process. The success and strength of the technical program depends on volunteers taking a few minutes of their precious time to read papers submitted and giving a thoughtful review. Call for Tutorials
The Technical Program Committee is soliciting proposals for special lectures/tutorial focusing on topics relevant to the scope of the conference. Prospective organizers should submit proposals to the program committee at ieeepecon-AT-gmail.com
Call for Exhibitions
Exhibition is planned during the conference. Exhibitors will include participants from commercial firms and organizations involved in the manufacturing, sales or distribution of electronics equipment and professional or technical services.
