The 4th Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and
Reuse - SBCARS 2010 gathers researchers, students and practitioners
with a broad range of interests in component-based software
engineering, software architectures and reuse. SBCARS´s previous
editions were highlighted by the presentation of high quality
technical papers, international invited speakers, and tutorials.
SBCARS 2010 intends to continue this tradition by offering a strong
technical program, keynote talks by leaders in the field, and
invited state-of-art seminars.

This year the symposium will be part of the 1st Brazilian Conference
on Software: Theory and Practice, CBSoft 2010,
http://cbsoft.dcc.ufba.br, which will host three traditional,
well-established symposia:

* IV Brazilian Symposium on Components, Software Architecture and
Software Reuse (SBCARS)

* XIV Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages (SBLP)

* XXIV Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES)

Contributions to SBCARS on the field of software components,
architectures and reuse are invited, including, but not limited to:

* Component-based software engineering

* Specification, verification, and test of components

* Evolution on component-based systems

* Component repositories

* Component-based programming

* Certification and quality of components

* Software architecture description languages

* Model-driven architectures

* Service-oriented architectures

* Software architectures and agile development

* Specification and verification of architectures

* Aspect-oriented software reuse

* Case studies and experience reports

* SUBMISSIONS

Authors are invited to submit papers that describe innovative and
significant work in the research and practice of component-based
software development, architectures, and reuse. Papers submitted to
SBCARS 2010 must present original unpublished work and will be
carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical
soundness, presentation and comparison with relevant related work.

Submitted papers can be written in Portuguese or English. They should
be in PDF format and may be no longer than 14 pages, including all
