BIOICT 2015 - 1st Workshop on BioInformatics

BIOICT’2015, The 1st Workshop on BioInformatics, accompained to the MECO Conference, will address all aspects of modern information and communication technologies application in bio/life sciences and technologies, including, but not limited, to medicine, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, ecology, pharmacology, etc. Bio-informatics is an interdisciplinary scientific field that builds on several other disciplines: mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering, biology, behavioral sciences, etc. In order to achieve its full potential, it should be tightly coupled with the science of living systems. Bio-informatics applies the results of information sciences and technologies to make the diverse and complex data encountered in the science of living systems more understandable and useful.
