General Information
Security and privacy in wireless networking has recently emerged as one of the most challenging research areas in computer science. SWING10 will focus on cutting-edge research in the area of privacy, security and authentication for wireless networking. The school format fosters close interaction between the students and the lecturers that are expected to work together on open problems of contemporary research. Participation to the School allows to earn ECTS credits.
Location
The school is organized at the University Residential Center of
Bertinoro, situated in Bertinoro, a small village on a scenic
hill with a wonderful panorama, in between Forli' and Cesena
(about 50 miles south-east of Bologna, 15 miles to the Adriatic
sea). The cheapest way to travel is by plane to Forli' airport
(the secondary airport of Bologna), which is daily connected
to, e.g., London and Frankfurt AM through the low fares
airline Ryanair.

Arrival and Departure Dates
Arrival: 27th June, 2010 (Sunday afternoon/night)
Departure: 2nd July, 2010 (Friday afternoon)
The School will take place from Monday morning to Friday morning
(included).
Participants that plan to arrive before/after June the 27th and/or to leave after July the 2nd should contact the local organizer Eleonora Campori.
Application, Notification, and Registration Dates
Prospective participants should apply by May 24th, 2010.
Notification of accepted applicants will be posted by May 31st, 2010.
Registration to the school is due by June 10th, 2010.
Fees
Registration fee covers costs for 6 nights (starting from Sunday 27th June, 2010), full board (breakfast and lunch, dinner of 27th June 2010 included, lunch of 2nd July 2010 excluded).
Registration fee is 700 euro if you chose double room accommodation
(to be shared with another participant) and 800 for single room accommodation.
Grants
A limited amount of grants will be provided to cover all or part of
the expenses.
