Storage systems are inevitable for modern day computing. All known computing platforms ranging from handheld devices to large super computers use storage systems for storing data. A file system is a logical method for organizing and storing large amounts of information in a way which makes it easy to manage. Over the past few years, the storage and file systems have been changing rapidly due to the increasing volume and the diversity of data, the appearance of new technologies and new storage environments. The aim of International Workshop on Storage and File Systems (SFS'15) is to bring together active researchers interested in all aspects of storage and file systems to discuss current research, results, problems, and applications.
