With the emergence of the Internet of Things, the number of devices being connected to the Internet is steadily growing and huge amounts of data are being generated worldwide. Big data brings new traffic and performance related challenges. These include how to model big data characteristics such as volume, velocity and variability, how to efficiently and securely manage and share big data, how to provide wireless connectivity for big data, how to optimally deploy cloud networking for big data applications, and how to exploit big data to improve network performance. The theme of ITC 27 “Traffic, Performance and Big Data” reflects these challenges.
Over the past 60 years, ITC has provided a forum for leading researchers from academia and industry to present and discuss key technological and methodological advances in the design, performance evaluation and control of communication networks, protocols and applications and in traffic measurement and management. ITC 27 continues this tradition and solicits original contributions that address novel technologies or propose innovative models and techniques. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Submitted papers must contain original work, must not be under review at other journals/conferences, and may comprise of max. 9 pages in 2-column IEEE conference style with minimal font size of 10 pt.
Papers should be submitted electronically using the EDAS online submission system.
All accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors.
