5th National Symposium on Information Technology: Towards Smart World
( from 17-19 February, 2015, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA )
http://nsitnsw.com/
Call for papers
In these last years, digital societies are being well developed toward smart environments. Wide range of services are, nowadays, digitally available to the citizens. The idea of ‘smart cities’ that is based on the use of new technologies and devices to build around a more suitable and flexible environment is being well targeted. Ubiquity and mobility added new dimensions to these smart environments. The use of smartphones and digital finder maps, and increasing budgets for technical support of services to citizens settled a new behavioral paradigm of city inhabitants.
The 5th national symposium of information technologies: towards smart world is an event that will cover trends for future smart cities, smart and ubiquitous systems, specialized technologies and devices and environmental sensing.
We solicit both academic, research, and industrial contributions. We welcome technical papers presenting research and practical results in this area. We also welcome survey papers addressing the key problems and solutions on any of the above topics as well as short papers on work in progress, and panel proposals.
The topics suggested by the conference can be discussed in term of concepts, state of the art, research, standards, implementations, running experiments, applications, and industrial case studies. Authors are invited to submit complete unpublished papers, which are not under review in any other conference or journal in the following, but not limited to, topic areas:
