ManFI 2015 - 7th International Workshop on Management of the Future Internet (ManFI)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Following the success of the previous editions of this workshop, the main goal of the workshop is to present state-of-the-art research results and experience reports in the area of Future Internet Management, addressing amongst others currently important topics such as efficient network and service monitoring for the Future Internet, management of virtualized networks and services, management of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings, content-aware and information-centric networks, management of software defined networks, federated management of the Future Internet, and economic based network and service management.
ManFI 2015 will combine original full paper presentations with a motivating keynote, quick hot topic presentations and a panel discussion. Furthermore, the workshop attendees will be stimulated to participate in interesting discussions amongst the attendees, such that all participants can take home lots of ideas for consideration in their ongoing research projects or start new research projects to address the challenging topics. To this end, short papers describing late-breaking advances and work-in-progress reports from ongoing research are also welcome.
Authors are invited to submit papers that fall into or are related to one or multiple topic areas listed below:
? Design of architectural building blocks for managing the Future Internet
? Advances in measurement, management, security, accounting, mobility, and other functions of the Future Internet
? Virtualization of resources and services
? Management of cloud computing infrastructures
? Efficient Management of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings
? Content-aware and Information-centric networks
? Efficient network and service monitoring for the Future Internet
? Automated configurations and repair
? Management of Software defined networks
? Management of OpenFlow based networks
? Management of social networks
