Sardinia 2015 - 15th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium Forte Village
Topics/Call fo Papers
Thank you for considering submission of an abstract for presentation at the Sardinia 2015 Symposium.
Abstracts (at least one but no more than two full pages) should prepared using the abstract template and submitted to the Organising Secretariat no later than January 31st 2015 using the online form.
Abstracts must clearly describe the content of presentations and their basis (detailed case study, discussion of experience from practice, preliminary research data, completed research not presented previously, review of literature, administrative initiatives and regulations, etc) and may be submitted for oral or poster presentation; offers of papers for workshops are also welcome.
Please note that the Organising Secretariat will confirm receipt of all abstracts. Authors not receiving an e-mail notifying receipt of their abstract should check with the Secretariat to ensure their abstract has been effectively received.
The official language of the Symposium will be English and all papers must therefore be written and presented in English.
In addition, the Symposium will arrange a session to be held entirely in Italian, in order to facilitate the participation of local delegates. Italian authors may freely submit papers for inclusion in both English and Italian sessions (in English and Italian, respectively).
Abstracts submitted for presentation will undergo a thorough selection process carried out by world leading waste management experts, represented by the Symposium International Advisory Board and Executive Programme Committee.
All final papers accepted to Sardinia 2015 will be published on a dedicated volume and submitted to Scopus and Thomson ISI (ISTP, CPCI, Web of Science) for indexing.
Additionally, a considerable number of leading papers selected by the Symposium Scientific Committee will be processed, eventually following revision and updating, for publication on special thematic issues of Waste Management, the scientific journal with the highest IF (3.157) in the field, published by Elsevier.
Other accepted papers, featuring a more practical orientation, will be considered for publication on IWWG Monographs on selected conference topics (CISA Publisher, ISBN classification).
Authors may indicate their preferred publication pathway when submitting their final papers.
For any further information or assistance regarding the submission of abstracts, please contact the Organising Secretariat papers-AT-sardiniasymposium.it
