WCCAIS 2015 - 2nd World Congress on Computer Applications and Information Systems (WCCAIS'2015)

The emergence and increasing importance of digital society, cyber-physical systems, and semantic, pervasive, and mobile computing are expanding the role of software and applications. Associated with these paradigms are instruments, sensors, and a multitude of applications that generate and require analysis of massive volumes of diverse, complex, and distributed data. Knowledge, tools, practices, and infrastructures related to software and data have begun to evolve to cover this expanding sphere, while addressing grand challenges brought about by the complexities and uncertainties of the physical world and the heterogeneity and massive scale of the cyber infrastructure and the data it produces and requires.
Information systems are the software and hardware systems that support data-intensive applications. IS are everywhere on the Web, in online banking, behind favorite search engine; enabling social networking site to manage content for millions of users, etc. IS are built using computers (e.g. mobile devices), communications (e.g. Wi-Fi, Internet), software (e.g. instant messaging, browsers, multimedia tools), data (e.g. user profiles), business rules (e.g. how work really gets done inside the organization), and people. It involves the analysis and design of systems, including areas such as computer networking, information security, database management, and decision support systems.
The 2nd World Congress on Computer Applications and Information Systems (WCCAIS'2015) is organized by the ISET University, Tozeur, Tunisia will be held at the city of Hammamet, Tunisia. It is dedicated to cutting edge research that addresses scientific needs of academic researchers and industrial professionals to explore new horizons of knowledge on various computer related applications and research and to discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the several perspectives of computer applications, information systems and technologies.
