PerNEM 2015 - The 5th International Workshop on Pervasive Networks for Emergency Management
Topics/Call fo Papers
The fifth workshop on Pervasive Networks for Emergency Management (PerNEM) will address the unique technical and scientific challenges of emergency and crisis management, which require effective sensing, communications and decision making with stringent time constraints in dynamic environments. Pervasive systems can provide decision support to rescuers and evacuees, collecting information that is vital for the emergency operation. This workshop will focus on pervasive networked sensing and decision making, both wired and wireless, for emergency management, including advances in sensing, communication, decision support, simulation tools, modeling methods and experimental evaluation.
