Topics/Call fo Papers
1st International Conference on Advanced Management
15-17 October 2010 Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou,China
1st International Conference on Advanced Management Perspectives in Asia (ICAMPA 2010): Business and Management Issues in the Post Financial Crisis?
Times have changed and the world is in recession. Is it time for management, academics and government to reflect and adapt to whatever the future may bring? This conference seeks to address these questions and encourages pertinent questions to be proactively discussed.
For companies to possess sustainable competitive advantages, constant reflections need to be engaged, and the maneuverings to assess and position during and after the financial crisis reminds us of the dire straits that nations, companies, society in general had to face and overcome.
The main issue facing the business world now is on how to manage in the post financial crisis. That is, if we can assume that we have survived it. The financial crisis had stirred up both good and bad practices within companies. So, what can businesses learn from it? How can government help businesses to cope with the new era? How can academics help businesses to digest this new set knowledge derived from the crisis in order to create new competitive advantages? Are there guidelines or processes that need to be streamlined or further reengineered?
