The 18th Conference on Air-Sea Interaction is sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS committee on Air-Sea Interaction. This conference will be held jointly with the 20th Conference on Boundary Layer Turbulence, which is also sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and is organized by the AMS Committee on Boundary Layer Turbulence. The conferences will be held 9-13 July, 2012 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Guest Room Rates
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at The Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the hotel for all meeting attendees at a special rate of $171 single/double plus tax. To receive the special meeting rate, attendees must request a room under the AMS block by using the Group Affiliation: AMERICAN METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY.
Thank you in advance for booking your sleeping room at the meeting host hotel. In doing so, you’re helping AMS maintain a strong pick-up history for future hotel contract negotiations, helping to keep registration rates as low as possible.

REGISTRATION
All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration may be completed on-line, via fax-in form, or on-site. Links will be available in the left-hand panel of this page. Registration rates will be announced and opened on 4 May. Pre-registration (discounted) will be available until 3 June.
GETTING THERE
Flying to Boston
Logan International Airport is approx. 5 miles and a 15-minute drive from the Westin Copley Place.
Ground Transportation
Taxi service costs approx. $25-$30
The MBTA or “T” costs $2 from the airport:
Take the shuttle bus from the terminal’s ground transportation to the Blue Line’s Airport Stop
Take the Blue Line to Government Center Center
Take the Green Line to Copley Station
The Westin Copley Place is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and areas of interest. The MBTA, or “T” is also located adjacent to the hotel, linking you to all points downtown.
Overnight valet parking is available to hotel guests for $46 per day.
