ICP 2016 - International Congress of Psychology (ICP)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The quadrennial International Congress of Psychology (ICP) is the world's largest psychology conference that includes all fields of psychology. In Japan, the Japanese Psychological Association (JPA) is the only association that covers all fields of psychology. Founded in 1927, the JPA has a current membership of 7,500 researchers, academics, and practitioners. The JPA publishes Japanese Journal of Psychology (in Japanese) bimonthly and Japanese Psychological Research (in English) quarterly. In addition, in Japan there are more than 40 scientific societies related to specific fields of psychology.
The JPA has submitted a bid proposal to host ICP2016 at Pacifico Yokohama in July 2016. The details of our plan for ICP2016 can be viewed on this website. If our bid for ICP2016 is accepted, we will make every effort to provide participants from across the globe with an impressive and enjoyable conference in Japan's second largest city. We will rely on the strong support from worldwide psychological communities in our efforts to host ICP2016 in Yokohama.
