NWC 2015 - 40th Annual National Wellness Conference
Topics/Call fo Papers
The National Wellness Institute is accepting breakout session proposals for its 40th Annual National Wellness Conference (NWC). All proposals are peer-reviewed. The Conference is a one-of-a-kind event where wellness professionals from a myriad of settings (e.g., worksites, community and public health organizations, healthcare facilities, educational programs, faith communities) can participate in research-based and best-practices learning opportunities and intensive skill-building programs, develop networking communities, engage in wellness activities for personal growth and renewal, and experience a wellness immersion unlike any other.
NWI seeks diversity in programming with sessions focusing on all Six Dimensions of Wellness: Emotional, Occupational, Physical, Social (includes Environmental), Intellectual, and Spiritual. Session content should focus on current research, theory, and/or best and promising practices. Additionally, NWI has a strong commitment to diversity and supports its inclusion in all of its educational programming and presentations. We encourage the submission of proposals that address best practices in diversity training and multicultural competencies for wellness professionals in working with all populations.
Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered, nor will identical sessions presented at previous National Wellness Conferences. You may submit up to three proposals as the lead presenter. Breakout session proposal applicants will be notified via e-mail of proposal acceptance status beginning December 15, 2014. Information on submitting NWC Poster Showcase proposals will be available in late 2015.
For complete details regarding proposal requirements, session tracks, presenter benefits, and more, download the NWC 2015 Proposal Submission Guidelines. All applicants should carefully review this PDF as some requirements have changed and all materials must be gathered BEFORE completing the online form.
