Description:
INCOTERMS are in all probability the most confusing, misinterpreted and misunderstood topic of international trade. Buyers and Sellers are often not cognizant of who is responsible for selecting transportation carriers, who pays for the move from point A to point B and where the risk of loss or damage begins and ends. In addition, INCOTERMS are thought to control other financial concerns of international shipping when in fact they're not. This webinar explains each INCOTERM in detail and dispels common misunderstandings of each. This course is designed for importers/exporters at any level of proficiency in Trade Compliance/Logistics.
From a logistics perspective, moving product globally presents a challenge to all companies large and small. There are many factors to consider in choosing logistics providers to move cargo from point A to B and sometimes C. This course gives importers/exporters the tools they need to choose the right carriers, forwarders, and integrators to move their products globally with maximum efficiency and cost. You'd be surprised to see the difference in shipping costs for various service levels of logistics providers.
