ICSED 2014 - International Conference on Socioeconomic Development

We are very pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the International Conference on Socioeconomic Development which will take place in João Pessoa, Brazil, between 26 and 29 of November, 2014. The official language of the conference will be English, but there will be special sessions in Portuguese.

We welcome submission of abstracts related, but not limited, to the following topics:
Anthropology Communication studies
Economics Education
Human geography History
Law Political science
Psychology Social Work
Sociology Tourism
FORMAT OF PRESENTATIONS
Oral presentations
Oral presentations cannot exceed 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for Q&A). Please be advised that presentations exceeding the limit will be cut off by the moderators in the interest of time. Presenters do not have to bring their own computer. There will be a laptop computer that will be available in the session room. Your presentations will be accepted in USB Flash. Participants should have their presentations ready prior to the beginning of the session. There will be specific sessions in Portuguese.
Poster presentations
Posters will be displayed in special sessions throughout the duration of the conference. The title and authors must appear at the top of the poster. We recommend the use of a font size legible from a distance of 1 meters. Bring some copies of your poster with you for distribution. On-site reproduction will NOT be available.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Abstracts must be submitted in English;
Abstracts are submitted using this form;
The review process is “double blind”;
The authors are responsible for the content of their presentations;
One of the authors of the communication will be the speaker, and must make their registration and payment;
Each registration only allows the presentation of two papers.
The Scientific Committee of the Congress may suggest changing the format of presentation (oral/poster).
Full length manuscripts will be submitted for publication in international peer-reviewed journals. The selection of a journal, if any, for a particular manuscript is entirely at the discretion of the editorial board members following the reviewers’ suggestions.
