MedGO 2015 - Mediterranean Gas and Oil International Conference (MedGO’15)

Rafik Hariri University is organizing the Mediterranean Gas and Oil International Conference (MedGO’15) in collaboration with Texas A&M University (USA) and Pennsylvania State University (USA), and technically sponsored by IEEE Lebanon Section. The conference will be held during April 16 ? 18, 2015, in Beirut, Lebanon.
On behalf of the University and the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to invite you and your faculty to participate in this important event.
This conference aims to create an interdisciplinary platform for stakeholders (academics, researchers, practitioners, specialists, policy & decision makers and students) to share, exchange and disseminate the results of their work, experience, research, ideas and perspectives pertinent to all aspects of gas and oil industry.
In particular, attention will be given to the discovery of gas and oil reserves in the Mediterranean Basin and the issues related to turning these potential reserves into viable industries capable of making a positive contribution to the development and prosperity of the national, regional and international economies.
Furthermore, the scope of the conference goes beyond the technical and engineering dimensions to include the environmental, institutional, economic, commercial and educational aspects.
