2012 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence
June 10-15, 2012
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Brisbane, Australia
www.ieee-wcci2012.org
The 2012 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (IEEE WCCI 2012) is the largest technical event in the field of computational intelligence. It will host three conferences: the 2012 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2012), the 2012 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2012), and the 2012 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (IEEE CEC 2012). WCCI 2012 will provide a stimulating forum for scientists, engineers, educators, and students from all over the world to discuss and present their research findings on computational intelligence.
IEEE WCCI 2012 will be held in sunny Brisbane, a major Australian city with beautiful surroundings, warm weather, and a number of beaches and resorts. Australia is the sixth largest country in the world. It's about the same size as the 48 mainland states of the USA and 50% larger than Europe. Australian culture is founded on notions of a ‘fair go’, love of the great outdoors and a dry sense of humour. We embrace diversity and nature.
Call For Papers
IJCNN The annual International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) is one of the leading events in the field of neural networks theory, analysis and applications. It covers all topics in the field of artificial neural networks from theory to applications.
FUZZ-IEEE The annual IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE) is one of the leading events in the field of fuzzy systems. It covers all topics in fuzzy systems from theory to applications.
IEEE CEC The annual IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (IEEE CEC) is one of the leading events in the field of evolutionary computation. It covers all topics in evolutionary computation from theory to applications.
All papers should be submitted electronically through the Congress website http://www.ieee-wcci2012.org/. Contributed papers will be refereed by experts in the fields based on the criteria of originality, significance, quality and clarity.
Call for Workshops/Tutorials
IEEE WCCI 2012 will feature pre-congress tutorials and workshops, covering fundamental and advanced computational intelligence topics. A tutorial or workshop proposal should include title, outline, expected enrolment, and presenter/organizer biography. Inquiries regarding the tutorials and workshops should be addressed to Tutorials and Workshops Chairs of the relevant conference.
Call for Special Session Proposals
IEEE WCCI 2012 solicits proposals for special sessions within the technical scope of the three conferences. Special sessions, to be organized by internationally recognized experts, aim to bring together researchers in special focused topics. Cross-fertilization of the three technical disciplines and newly emerging research areas is strongly encouraged. Papers submitted for special sessions are to be peer-reviewed with the same criteria used for the contributed papers. Researchers interested in organizing special sessions are invited to submit a formal proposal filling in the form available on the web site http://www.ieee-wcci2012.org/special-sessions.
Call for Competitions
IEEE WCCI 2012 will host competitions to stimulate research in computational intelligence, promote fair evaluations, and attract students. The proposals should include descriptions of the problems addressed, motivations and expected impact on computational intelligence, data description, evaluation procedures and established baselines, schedules, anticipated number of participants, and a biography of the main team members. Proposals should be sent to the respective competition chair.
IEEE WCCI 2012 will also feature Plenary and Invited Talks to be given by top quality internationally recognized researchers.
