The ACC is the annual conference of the American Automatic Control Council (AACC). AACC is the U.S. national member organization of the International Federation for Automatic Control (IFAC).
The ACC is co-sponsored by eight societies that make up the AACC which are the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), Association of Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), International Society for Measurement and Control (ISA), and the Society for Computer Simulation (SCS).
ACC Policy
? Paper Submission Format: All papers submitted to the ACC for review must be prepared in the standard 2-column proceedings format. See the Author's Support at the conference website for Word and LaTeX style files. For the purposes of review, regular and invited papers are limited to 8 pages and short papers to 3 pages. Papers exceeding these limits will not be reviewed. All submissions for the conference technical program must be done through the paperplaza submission website ( http://css.paperplaza.net ) .
? Paper Publication: Accepted short papers are limited to 2 pages; regular and all other papers are limited to 6 pages. Papers exceeding these limits will be published in the conference proceedings only after payment for all extra pages is received.
? Registration Fee: One regular registration fee at the advance registration rates must be paid by one of the authors before uploading the final version of the paper for inclusion in the conference.
? Registration: A full "member" or "non-member" registration is required to be able to upload papers. Further, each full member or non-member registration allows you to uplod a maximum of four (4) manuscripts. Attendees may register under following registration categories, not all categories entitle you to upload papers.
? Member: If you are a member of AIAA, AIChE, AIST, ASCE, IEEE, ASME, ISA, SCS, you are entitled to "Member" rate. This registration category entitles you to upload up to four (4) final papers. Additional paper uploads will require an amount equivalent to half the member registration fee.
? Non-member: If you are not a member of any of the above organization(s), you should register at the non-member rate. This registration category entitles you to upload up to four (4) final papers. Additional paper uploads will require an amount equivalent to half the member registration fee.
? Student: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you were a "full-time student" at a recognized institution, you may register at student rate. Please bring along evidence of full-time student status when you attend the conference. This registration category DOES NOT entitle you to upload final papers.
? Retiree: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you had retired or did not hold a full time employment, you may register at Retiree rate. This registration category DOES NOT entitle you to upload final papers.
? NOTE: Please note that life members of individual societies are not entitled to reduced conference registration rates at the American Control Conference.
