Many countries are facing unprecedented economic conditions. Engineering and technology skills are of immense value to ensure countries can sustain and develop their international competitive advantage. Against this we’re facing a decline in young people who wish to pursue engineering careers at differing entry levels.
The theme Engineering the Knowledge Economy: Collaboration, Engagement & Employability wishes to challenge the education, industry and government sectors to develop a cohesive, systemic process that enables learners to engage and develop into world class engineers.
On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to warmly invite you to participate and submit material to the 2014 Annual Conference of the Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE2014).
