STACOM 2014 - Statistical Atlases and Computational Modeling of the Heart (STACOM) workshop

Continuing the highly successful Statistical Atlases and Computational Modeling of the Heart (STACOM) workshop series, which has been running annually since 2010, the Fifth Edition of STACOM Workshop will be held on Thursday, 14th - 18th September 2014, (after the main MICCAI conference) in Boston, MA. If you are developing new computational algorithms for the heart, or want to know cutting-edge methods in this areas, then this workshop is the right place for you! Engage in an enchanting interaction and lively discussion about cardiac atlasing, personalized cardiac models, computational physiology of the heart, statistical modeling of cardiac function across populations, and other new developments in cardiac image analysis.
This year, the STACOM workshop organises two new challenges: motion correction registration from MRI perfusion and left ventricular mechanics from MRI. The workshop is also open for submission of regular papers, describing new methods in the following (not limited) topics:
Statistical analysis of cardiac morphology and morphodynamics
Computational modeling and simulation of the heart and the great vessels
Personalization of cardiac model, electrophysiology and mechanics
Quantitative cardiac image analysis
Sharing and reusing cardiac model repository
