The 6th International Congress on the Science and Technology of Steelmaking (ICS2015) will be held on May 12-14, 2015 in Beijing, China, as a continuation of the 1st International Congress on the Science and Technology of Steelmaking (1996) in Japan, the 2nd (2001) in UK, the 3rd (2005) in USA, the 4th (2008) in Japan and the 5th (2012) in Germany.
The 6th International Congress on Science and Technology of Steelmaking will be an excellent venue for the academia, researchers and engineers all around the world to exchange state-of-the-art development and information on issues related to steelmaking. The Chinese Society for Metals successfully organized the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th International Conference on Continuous Casting of Steel in Developing Countries in 1993, 1997, 2004 and 2008 in China, respectively. As a continuation of this serial meeting, the International Conference on Continuous Casting (ICCC2015) will be held on May 12-14, 2015 in Beijing, China. For the sake of simplicity, some sessions of ICS2015 and ICCC2015 may be combined.
