CCRH 2014 - International Conference on Change in Cryosphere & Impact on Ecosystem Services & Rural Livelihood: Understanding Local Adaptation in the Himalyan Region

CCRH-2014 offers a valuable opportunity to meet, network and connect with the colleagues working on different facets of Himalayas. This Conference will provide a unique forum for participants to explore the multidisciplinary aspects of forest and mountain science. The event is expected to discuss issues related to biodiversity crisis, landscape degradation, climate change, mountain disasters, water quality and health, rural livelihoods, energy crisis, pollution as well as cross-sectoral issues with particular emphasis on natural resources of the Himalayan region.
The event shall be active platform for environmentalists, climatologists, mountain ecologists, hill development experts, scholars, scientists, natural resource specialists, designers, planners and other stakeholders to carve out strategies for revival and restoration of dwindling Himalayan natural resources.
Session themes for the conference cover a rich and diverse range of research topics. We hope these sessions will bring researchers from across world together to discuss broad questions of common interest and provide a platform to establish relationships with new colleagues.
