Conference Dates and Venue
The 2010 Annual Conference and Exhibition will take place from 12-14 April 2010 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, a superb purpose-built conference and exhibition facility situated in the heart of Scotland\'s beautiful capital city.
Edinburgh is a world-class destination. Home to the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh is a fusion of fabled streets and historic buildings, contained within a vibrant modern city. The city and surrounding area have a wide range of unusual, historic and world-famous venues ? elegant stately homes, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Museum and historic underground ghostly vaults. Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the delegate fee and must be booked separately. UKSG has worked with the Edinburgh Convention Bureau to set up a designated free online booking service which offers specially negotiated rates at a number of local hotels and apartments.

Credit card details are required to secure a booking and confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. Payment should be made direct to your chosen hotel during your stay.

Monday night dinner
At this year\'s conference, delegates are free to make their own dinner arrangements following the early evening reception on Monday 12 April. If you would like to connect with others to make a plan for the evening, please either visit our Facebook group in advance of the conference, or join us at the solo / first-time delegate reception at lunchtime on the Monday. A list of local restaurants can be found here.

The sponsorship award covers the cost of attendance at the conference, including all meals, entertainment and accommodation. Please note that all students, whether studying full time or part time as undergraduates or postgraduates, are eligible to apply, and the invitation is aimed at all courses related to areas associated with UKSG interests ? librarianship, publishing, media and communications.
