The 2015 American Control Conference will be held Wednesday through Friday, July 1?3 in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The conference venue is the Hilton Palmer House, located in the heart of The Loop, just minutes away from Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Willis Tower, and Chicago’s downtown theater district. Chicago is also home to museums and galleries of every variety along with world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment along the sparkling shores of Lake Michigan.
The ACC is the annual conference of the American Automatic Control Council (AACC, the U.S. national member organization of the International Federation for Automatic Control (IFAC)). National and international society co-sponsors of ACC include American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), IEEE Control Systems Society (IEEE-CSS), International Society of Automation (ISA), Society for Modeling & Simulation International (SCS), and Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
The ACC is internationally recognized as a premier scientific and engineering conference dedicated to the advancement of control theory and practice. The ACC brings together an international community of researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest findings in automatic control. The 2015 ACC technical program will comprise several types of presentations in regular and invited sessions, tutorial sessions, and special sessions along with workshops and exhibits. Submissions are encouraged in all areas of the theory and practice of automatic control, including within the special themes of energy, biomedical, and transportation systems, which will be the topics of three of the plenary/semi-plenary lectures that open full days of topical sessions.
