STANDARDS 2014 - WORKSHOP on STANDARDS FOR PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IN THE ERA OF BIG DATA
Topics/Call fo Papers
The growth of the Hadoop and related ecosystems to support big data has put new pressures on the KDD community to support standards for statistical and data mining models.
As predictive analytics and data mining continue to gain momentum in industry and business applications, open standards provide an essential platform to share predictive models across vendors and to disseminate model-related information within organizations. These standards are a critical element in the operational application of predictive analytics. This workshop in Standards in Predictive Analytics will explore the available standards, discuss adoption, and explore any needs unmet by existing standards. This workshop would be particularly appealing to KDD 2014 workshop attendees focused on the operational application of data mining.
