WST 2014 - Yesterday's Weapons for Tomorrow's Operations

The developmental cycles of platforms and weapons rarely coincide. New platforms have to accommodate the existing weapon inventory; conversely older platforms have to integrate new weapon systems. The nature of warfare, with the implications of an evolving threat environment, can also develop ahead of platform or weapon capability. This conference aims to explore the current and future capabilities of platforms and weapon systems. It will also consider the type of conflicts that may be encountered and whether the current capabilities are suitable. A call for papers is currently open for this conference.
