The Board of Directors of the Applied Geography Conferences invites you to participate at the 2014 conference in Atlanta, Georgia, Oct. 15-17.
For over three decades, the Applied Geography Conferences have provided a forum for the exchange and critique of ideas related to the application of geographic concepts, analytical techniques, data and methods. The conference brings together practitioners, academics, and other professionals who seek geographic solutions and explanations to societal problems. Papers presented at the conference are eligible to be submitted for review for possible publication in the annual conference publication, Papers in Applied Geography. All papers submitted for publication
go through a rigorous double blind review process. In addition to paper sessions, the conference also features panel discussions, exhibits, poster presentations, field trips, & special events.
Selected papers will be invited to submit an expanded version to a special issue of the International Journal of Applied Geospatial Research and a special issue of Applied Geography.
Submission of abstracts for papers or posters must be made to the Applied Geography Conference Board of Directors by June 6th, 2014. To be considered for publication in Papers in Applied Geography, please submit your manuscripts by June 15, 2014.
