This flagship event will bring together professionals from industry and government to explore practical strategies for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s changes. The Program Advisory Committee is interested in high-quality submissions for presentations that will enable attendees to gain clarity about the issues relating to the Congress theme: Risky Business - Embracing Privacy and Data Governance in a Hostile World.
The objective of all plenary, breakout and workshop sessions is to provide Congress delegates with practical information and training about interrelated aspects of privacy and data governance. Delegates from the private sector and the public sector will include:

) Risk Management Professionals
Your session could be selected as a half-day pre-conference workshop session or a 90?minute breakout session. A majority of submissions will be selected for 90?minute breakout sessions.
The Congress aims to provide a novel learning experience in which delegates take an active and participatory role. Each session should include an interactive discussion of the topic, practical tools/takeaways, and at least 45 minutes of open discussion/Q&A with case studies and hands-on exercises so that delegates can immediately put their newly acquired knowledge to use for the benefit of their organizations and their careers.
Presentation Proposals
The following information is required to submit a Presentation Proposal for consideration:
) Session Title
) Names, titles, organizations and email addresses of presenter and any co-presenters
) Three brief bullet points explaining what attendees will learn from your session, to be used in the conference brochure as your session description
) A brief description of how your presentation relates to the chosen Congress Track
) A plan for audience engagement
) Brief biography for the Presenter and any co-presenters ?(300 words max per person)
) High-resolution headshot (a JPG, TIFF or EPS file large enough to be suitable for printing)
) Audio/visual or other equipment/material requirements
) Suggested Session Track (indicate only one of the following) ?and a short description (100 word max) of how your presentation relates to the Track:
- Information Privacy
- Data Governance
- Business Resilience
- Information/Systems Security
- Surveillance
If selected as a speaker, the information you provide will be used in the conference materials. Please be sure your information is complete and correct, including all relevant titles, degrees, and credentials.
Timelines and Deadlines
All presentation proposals and supporting documentation must be submitted by April 25, 2014. Late submissions will not be considered.
Applicants whose presentation proposal is selected for the Congress you will be notified by Friday, May 23, 2014.
Complete presentation materials for inclusion in the event proceedings must be submitted by September 19, 2014.
