1. All accepted papers will be published by CD proceeding by FTRA.
2. After closing symposium,
accepted and presented papers will be recommended to Special Issues of the Intl' Journal Journals indexed by SCIE/SCOPUS (50~70%).
3. The other papers will be published by Springer-LNEE Post Proceedings.
4. We have a plan to accept only 30 ~ 40 papers with high quality.

Introduction
----------------------
The 2014 FTRA International Symposium on Ubiquitous Green IT Systems (U-GIT 2014) will be held in Jeju, Korea, July 7-10, 2014.
The U-GIT 2014 will be the most comprehensive symposium focused on Ubiquitous Green IT Systems and Applications (U-GITs).
The U-GIT 2014 will provide an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of U-GITs
In addition, the symposium will publish high quality papers which are closely related to the various theories and practical applications in U-GITs.
Furthermore, we expect that the symposiume and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this important subject.
Papers presented in the U-GIT 2014 will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (Post proceeding), ISSN: 1876-1100, which will be indexed by EI & SCOPUS Compendex.
And many good papers will be recommended to intl' journals indexed by SCI/E or SCOPUS.

Paper Submission and Publication

There will be a combination of presentations including scientific papers. Prospective authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral presentations in any of the areas of interest for U-GIT 2014.
First, authors should submit a regular paper with 4~6 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. Please use ONLY symposium paper template (download http://www.ftrai.org/ucawsn2014/ucawsn2014template...).
If you want to submit more than page limitation, you can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee payment.
After closing the symposium, the authors MUST submit full paper with 7~8 pages or regular paper with 5~6 pages for the SIs of international journals (indexed by SCI/E or SCOPUS).
We will send the official recommendation letter including journal submission instruction to all authors who presented in our symposium (the page limits are based on double columns).
Proceedings and Journal Publications

First, only all abstracts - one page will be included in our symposium proceeding.
After closing the symposium, all accepted and presented papers in U-GIT 2014 will be recommended to
1) SCI/E journals (Top ranked papers: 30~40%)
- Springer: JoS, MTAP, CC, ECS, Hindawi: SWJ, IJDSN, JAM, etc.
// the authors MUST submitted full paper with 7~8 pages
2) SCOPUS journals (20~30% papers) - Life Science Journal or other journals.
// the authors can submit regular paper with 5-6 pages.
3) Other papers will be published by Springer-LNEE Post Proceedings (indexed by EI and SCOPUS)
// Only authors who want to publish their papers in Springer-LNEE.
The authors MUST submit the carmera-ready and copyright by the deadline.

1. We will NOT send authors of the non-registered papers the comments.
2. When you prepare a paper for the SI submission, authors MUST revise and improve the paper based on review comments.

-Symposium Dates: July 7-10, 2014
The only first page for each paper will be included in the Symposium/Workshop Proceedings (without ISSN / ISBN).

-Sending the invitation letter for SIs Submission: July 20, 2014
We will send the invitation letter including SI name and submission instruction.
-Submission due for SIs: July 30, 2014
