SCAS 2014 - The Academician Forum on Smart Cities and Systems (SCAS)

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to The Academician Forum on Smart Cities and Systems (SCAS) with theme on “Smart Cities and Big Data: Opportunities and Challenges”, held in Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui, at March 24, 2014. It is organized by the Chinese Academy of Engineering; the Chinese University of Hong Kong; the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen; and Smart China.
Over 20 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Science, etc. will join the activity, along with many important guests from mainland and overseas. Interesting topics include (but not limited to) modeling, analytics, management, policy and business from various perspectives in big data for smart cities. The forum provides a great platform for both scholars and professionals to share common interests and experiences. It also provides chances for them to look for future collaboration on big data and smart cities.

PS. No registration fee is needed for the forum. Transportation from CU campus to Sheraton will be provided. Luncheon will be provided to the registered audience for both morning and afternoon activities, subject to overall hall capacity limit.
