SCOPE:
The 6th International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service (ICIMCS) will be held from July 10β12, 2014 at Xiamen, Fujian, China. The three-day conference will include invited keynotes, oral and poster presentations. ICIMCS2014 will serve as an international forum to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss cutting-edge research on the state-of-the-art of internet multimedia processing, multimedia service, analysis and applications. The conference calls for research papers reporting original investigation results and industrial-track papers reporting real multimedia applications and system development experiences.
All previous ICIMCS papers have been included in the ACM digital library and indexed by EI. Selected high quality papers will be invited to submit to special issues in SCI-indexed multimedia-related journals (e.g., Multimedia Systems Journal, Multimedia Tools and Applications journal).
A "Best Paper Award" and a "Best Student Paper Award" will be conferred to the author(s) of a full paper presented at the conference, selected by the award committee based on the marks of paper reviewing assessed by the Program Committee, and paper presentation quality assessed by session chairs at the conference venue. The "Best Student Paper Award" will be given to a paper in which the first author is a registered postgraduate or Ph.D student.

Multimedia security and rights management
Multimedia quality assessment
3D media, virtual and augmented reality
Interactive media and HCI
Mobile multimedia computing
Social multimedia analysis and application
Computer vision/machine learning for multimedia application
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
All submissions must be in English and should follow ACM guidelines.The whole paper should be written in 9 points and should be prepared in double-column proceedings style. The default paper length for ICIMCS 2014 is 4 pages, and should be not more than 6, for which the authors should pay for the extract page charges. Papers must be submitted as PDF files. Papers violating the formatting rules, or exceeding the format length will be rejected without review.
