JFPDA 2014 - 9th French Meeting on Planning, Decision Making and Learning
Topics/Call fo Papers
The French Meeting on Planning, Decision Making and Learning (JFPDA) aims at gathering the scientific community working around the field of planning, artificial intelligence, reinforcement learning, (approximate) dynamic programming and other topics related to decision making under uncertainty. Contributions presented at JFPDA deal with either theoretical aspects of algorithms or applications on virtual systems (games, simulators) or real systems (robots, etc). This meeting is also a nice opportunity to present on-going work from students, post-docs or young researchers in a friendly atmosphere.
After Toulouse (2006), Grenoble (2007), Metz (2008), Paris (2009), Besançon (2010), Rouen (2011), Nancy (2012) and Lille (2013), JFPDA will take place outside France for the first time ever in Liège (Belgium) in 2014. Inspired by a long tradition of research in the field of power systems at the University of Liège, JFPDA'14 will be an occasion to emphasize the decision making problems met in the context of energy management. Contributions within traditional themes of JFPDA will of-course be strongly welcomed.
