ICL-GNSS 2014 - IEEE International Conference on Localization and Global Navigation Satellite Systems
Topics/Call fo Papers
ICL-GNSS is an annual conference, held this year in Helsinki, Finland. The previous instances of ICL-GNSS took place in:
Turin, Italy in 2013
Munich (Starnberg), Germany in 2012
Tampere, Finland in 2011
It is concentrating on localization and Global Navigation Satellite Systems. It provides a high-quality publishing forum with peer review, and emphasizes at the same time quick turn-around time. That is thanks to our dedicated peers working as reviewers.
Driven by both market trends and legal regulations, there is a high demand for providing a robust localization solution, which will be available continuously, regardless the specific environment, i.e., outdoors and indoors, and on different platforms such as stand-alone navigators, PDAs and mobile devices. ICL-GNSS thus addresses both satellite-based and complementary technologies.
The event is based on a balanced mixture of
world-class invited keynote presentations
contributed peer-reviewed papers
The programme includes this year two special sessions:
NEWCOM# Special Session on Hybridization of GNSS and 4G-and-Beyond Communication Systems
MULTI-POS Special Session on Multi-technology Positioning
The local organizers for the event in 2014 are Tampere University of Technology and Finnish Geodetic Institute.
The event has technical co-sponsorship by:
IEEE
IEEE Communications Society
