IWAENC 2014
The 14th International Workshop on Acoustic Signal Enhancement will be
held at the Palais de Congres in Antibes - Juan les Pins, September 8th
- 11th, 2014. The workshop will focus on signal processing for acoustic
signals. The three day technical programme consists of oral and poster
presentations, keynote talks, and demonstrations.
The city of Antibes - Juan les pins is located on the Cote d'Azur -
French Riviera nestled between the foot of the Alpes and the
Mediterranean Sea. The venue can be accessed easily from the Nice Cote
d'Azur airport, Frances busiest airport outside of Paris with direct
connections to almost 100 European destinations and 14 international
destinations including New York (JFK) and Dubai.
SCOPE
The technical scope of the workshop is centred on the enhancement and
processing of speech and audio signals. Applications include mobile
communications, audio-visual conferencing systems, voice control
systems, hearing aids, interactive TV and emerging applications in audio
signal processing.

Paper submissions are invited in, but not limited to, the following

- New and emerging topics in speech and audio processing
BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD
The IWAENC Technical Committee will award the Best Student Paper Award
for the best student paper. The selection will be based on originality,
scientific merit, and quality of writing and presentation. The paper
must be presented by the candidate student to be qualified for the award.
