ICPCA/SWS 2014 - The International conference of Pervasive Computing and the Networked World: Pervasive Computing, Applications and Web Society (ICPCA/SWS2014)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The conference features the following three sessions and welcomes submissions from both academic and industries.
INFRASTRUCTURE Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor Network, BAN, Wearable Computing
SERVICES AND DATA Cloud Computing, Internet of Service (IoS), Linked Data
Context Pervasive Collaboration, Collaboration at Work, Pervasive Business, Context-aware Computing
You are also encouraged to submit demonstrate work in progress and late breaking research and development results that show the latest innovative ideas. We sincerely extend our invitation to experienced academics as well as young researchers to present their ongoing work and preliminary results.
Call for Papers: The goal of the Joint Conference of ICPCA9 and SWS6 is to further explore both theoretical and practical issues in and around the emerging computing paradigms, e.g. pervasive collaboration, collaborative business, networked societies. In 2014, more emphasis is being placed on the Sensor Network, Data Stream Analysis, Context-awareness, and Intelligent Society. ICPCA/SWS'14 would like to solicit contributions to three themes:
TRACK01 - INFRASTRUCTURE Internet of Things, Cloud Computing Infrastructure, Smart/Intelligent Environment, Sensor Network, Body Area Network
TRACK02 - DATA AND MOBILITY Big Data, Linked Data/Open Data, Data-centric Computing, Security
TRACK03 - Context Pervasive Collaboration, Collaboration at Work, Pervasive Business, Context-aware Computing
Publication:The proceedings of this conference will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS). Papers should not exceed fourteen (14) pages in length and must be formatted according to the information for LNCS authors. All papers will be peer-reviewed by members of the ICPCA/SWS’14 programme com-mittee. Papers are selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extensively expanded version of their papers to be considered for publication in special issues in international journals.
Papers should not exceed fifteen (15) pages in length and must be formatted according to the information for LNCS authors. Papers must be submitted in PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) or MS Words format and will not be accepted in any other format. Papers that exceed 15 pages or do not follow the LNCS guidelines risk being rejected automatically without a review. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. More information about the Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) are available on the Springer LNCS Web site.
