Topics/Call fo Papers
Szeged International Workshop on Advances in Nanoscience (SIWAN) is a forum where participants get a chance to show their results and get further motivation from listening to in-depth talks from top nanotechnology researchers. Every aspect of nanoscience is welcome at the SIWAN conference series because it is our goal to broaden the intellectual horizons and stimulate interdisciplinary idea exchange as much as possible.
Main topics are:
- synthesis and characterization of nanostructures and nanocomposites;
- improving our fundamental understanding of physics and chemistry at the nanoscale;
- applications of nanostructures in structural materials, catalysis, energy storage, energy conversion and electronics;
- scale-up and commercialization of nanomaterial production;
- health and safety issues related to the manufacturing and usage of nanoproducts;
- bionanomaterials.
