Irish Machine Vision and Image Processing Conference 2014 that will take place in August 2014. IMVIP 2014 is the main conference of the Irish Pattern Recognition and Classification Society (IPRCS), a member body of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).The 2014 Irish Machine Vision and Image Processing (IMVIP) Conference will be hosted by the Intelligent Systems Research Centre, School of Computing and Intelligent Systems, University of Ulster, bringing together theoreticians and practitioners, industrialists and academics, from the numerous related disciplines involved in the processing and analysis of image-based information.
IMVIP 2014 is a single-track conference consisting of high quality previously unpublished contributed papers, presented orally, and with poster sessions. The conference emphasises both theoretical research results and practical engineering experience in all areas. Full papers are subject to a double-blind review process by the programme committee. In addition to the contributed programme, there will also be talks by invited speakers.
IMVIP 2014 will be the 16th IMVIP conference, with previous IMVIP conferences organised by Magee College, University of Ulster (1997), NUI, Maynooth (1998), Dublin City University (1999), Queen's University of Belfast (2000), NUI, Maynooth (2001), NUI, Galway (2002), University of Ulster, Coleraine (2003), Trinity College Dublin (2004), Queen's University, Belfast (2005), Dublin City University (2006),NUI, Maynooth (2007), School of Computing and Information Engineering, University of Ulster (2008),Trinity College Dublin (2009), University of Limerick (2010) and Dublin City University (2011).
