6th ZnO workshop 2010 - The 6th International Workshop on Zinc Oxide and Related Materials
Topics/Call fo Papers
■“The 6th International Workshop on Zinc Oxide and Related Materials” (6th ZnO Workshop) will be held by The Key Laboratory of Excited State Processes, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinsese Academy of Sciences, on Aug. 5 - 7, 2010 in Changchun, China.
The 6th ZnO workshop will highlight the latest advances in all major disciplines of ZnO and related materials, and it will provide a platform for researchers and engineers working on ZnO and related materials to share their latest progress in research and development and discuss possible solutions to challenging issues. All papers presented at this Workshop, oral or poster presentations, will be considered for publication in an SCI journal.
Please send your abstracts to zno-AT-ciomp.ac.cn. The deadline for the abstract submission is April 30, 2010. Note that the Program Committee will rank the abstracts, and only the highly ranked abstracts will be selected as oral presentations.
■Topics of the Workshop
* Growth and characterization of bulk crystals and thin films
* Doping and defect control
* Effect of defect on properties
* Nanostructures
* Optical and electrical properties
* Heterostructures and homojunctions
* Integration of ZnO with Si or other functional materials
* Magnetism and spintronics
* Optical and electronic applications including light emitting diodes, lasers,
photodetectors, transistors, transparent conductive oxides, sensors, etc.
* Application in biotechnology
