2014 4th IEEE International Conference on Information Science and Technology
Call for Papers (pdf http://web.siat.ac.cn/icist2014/ICIST2014-CFP.pdf)
The Fourth IEEE International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST 2014) will be held in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China during April 26-28, 2014, as a continuation with ICIST 2013 (Yangzhou) and ICIST 2012(Wuhan).
ICIST 2014 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers and educators to present the state of the art of research and applications in fields of information and robotics. The conference will feature plenary speeches given by world renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and special sessions focusing on popular topics.
Shenzhen is a major city in the south of Southern China's Guangdong Province, situated immediately north of Hong Kong. The area became China's first and one of the most successful Special Economic Zones (SEZs). It currently also holds sub-provincial administrative status, with powers slightly less than a province. Shenzhen's modern cityscape is the result of the vibrant economy made possible by rapid foreign investment since the institution of the policy of "reform and opening" establishment of the SEZ in the late 1979, before which it was only a small village. Both Chinese and foreign nationals have invested enormous amounts of money in the Shenzhen SEZ. More than US$30 billion in foreign investment has gone into both foreign-owned and joint ventures, at first mainly in manufacturing but more recently in the service industries as well. Shenzhen is now considered one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. Being southern mainland China's major financial centre, Shenzhen is home to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange as well as the headquarters of numerous high-tech companies. Shenzhen is also one of the busiest container ports in China.
Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers to ICIST 2014. In addition, proposals for special sessions within the technical scopes of the conference are solicited.
Contributed Papers: Papers are solicited in all areas of Information Science and Technology. All papers must be submitted in PDF format prepared strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for IEEE Xplore®.The standard number of pages is 4 and the maximum page limit is 6 pages with extra charge for the 2 extra pages beyond the 4 pages.
