Nuclear Power 2014 - İstanbul Nükleer Santraller Zirvesi Nuclear Power Plants Summit

PURPOSE OF SUMMIT
Turkey must implement and execute large energy projects considering the high demand for energy based on our developing economy, our geographical location, foreign dependency in energy and our position as a major transition hub for energy. Such projects to be carried out to prevent foreign dependency in energy require that all parties, who are specialists on the issue, come together.
This International Summit we have planned to organize for the first time under the leadership of Turkish scholars will bring together the international corporations desiring to invest in nuclear plants and the local companies desiring to work with such corporations as well as officials from public and local administrations. Moreover, all stakeholders having different views of the nuclear plants will also be able to learn the perspective of the Turkish public opinion thanks to this Summit.
