Special Session: Multimedia Sensory Systems and Its Applications
Call for Papers:
Recent advances in circuits and systems significantly lower the cost of manufacturing sensory devices, and the proliferation of multimedia sensors is expected to enrich smart environments in the near future. Interesting applications based on multimedia sensors have been proposed and investigated in the recent past, with various challenges arise for deploying an ambient intelligence environment. This special session is organized to provide a forum for international experts to present and discuss recent development in multimedia sensory systems. The scope of this special session includes, but is not limited to, the following:
? Multimedia sensor devices
? Internet of things
? Multimedia sensor network protocols
? Multi-sensor data fusion
? Smart home
? Healthcare applications using multimedia sensors
? Ambient intelligence environment
? Surveillance and monitoring applications
Submission:
All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, which will be published by Springer as part of the Studies in Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing series. The Springer template (MS Word, LaTeX) is available at http://www.springer.com/series/4240, under "Instructions for Authors".
