This workshop will be a second one. The first edition in 2013 was a successful workshop at WI-IAT in Atlanta, having the participation of authors from Algeria, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, France, India, Palestinian Territory, Portugal, Switzerland, UK and USA.
As the first edition, this second edition workshop intends to promote the discussion about the automatic and semi-automatic construction of ontologies, a field of research that is usually referred to as ontology learning and population. Specifically, it focuses on the Artificial Intelligence contribution for such problems through techniques from the areas of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Automated Reasoning, Information Extraction and Knowledge Reuse.
Program Co-chairs:
Rosario Girardi, Federal University of Maranhao, Brazil
Lucelene Lopes, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Renata Vieira, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
News:
